Start by cutting a 30cm x 8cm piece of cardstock and score it at 7cm, 14cm, 21cm and 28cm. Cut a 3,7cm x 3,7cm small square, place it like on the photo, draw it and use a sharp hobby knife to cut its diagonals:
After you glue the edges you should have something like this:
Cut the ''vase'' using Die-namics Cone Treat Box, glue it and place it in the opening. I needed the ''vase'' to be a little bit heavier at the bottom, just to be a little more stable, so I put some small decoration stones inside (you can use sand too, not too much, it's not necessary), don't worry, you won't see them:
Cut a 5cm x 5cm square, score the edges at 0,5 cm, fold them and cut out the corners like on the photo. Glue the square inside the box (it won't go too deep inside, but it must be like this) and cut with a knife three small notches to make place for the flowers. Use Die-namics Large Leaf Filled Flourish, cut two or more flourishes and glue them on the top of the ''vase'':
This is how I made the flowers, using some wooden skewers for barbeque:
I know it looks complicated, but believe me, it isn't at all! Just place the other two flowers and add a label with ''Happy Birthday'' or ''Thank you'' on it, I had this in my mind and I forgot to do it!
That's all from me for today, I hope you like the project!
Thank you for stopping by and for the nice comments!
